Education:
The first time I tried Pilates in February 2018, it quickly became a passion. Becoming an instructor seemed like the next step because of the difference it made in my life in such a short period of time. As a former athlete and love of competitive sports, I found it physically challenging as well as mentally. I am an OU graduate so I love supporting my Sooners, Chicago Cubs fan an enjoy watching my daughter dance for Jenks Pom.
Calista Marler fell head-over-heels in love with Pilates (possibly literally!) in 2003 while attending a mat class with a friend. Realizing that Pilates was going to be more than a hobby, she started instructor training at Personal Best Pilates Studio in Overland Park, KS in 2006, and taught mat classes at several studios in Tulsa before completing full equipment certification in 2009. She has a passion for alignment, small muscle control, and the nuances of human anatomy, and her background in ballet allows her to build Pilates barre routines designed to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion. She runs on coffee, stretching, and rampant imagination, and she loves to help her students achieve new levels of strength and balance that serve them both inside and outside the studio. Her favorite moments are when students tell her what new thing they can do that they couldn't do before Pilates. When she's not in the studio, Calista lives on a small farm in Winchester, where she has a garden of useful plants and interesting weeds, a lot of ducks and chickens, too many dogs and cats, two kleptomaniac ferrets, and more kids than you can shake a stick at. She enjoys crafts, good books, and embarrassing her kids at every possible opportunity. Her collection of unicorn horn headbands is truly impressive, and if you see her outside the studio, she'll probably be wearing one.
Hi, my name is Lauren I'm a foodie, lover of all tea and coffee, I geek when it comes to understanding nutrition and I have two dauchshunds that I love every second possible. I have been on a discovery of health and wellness and I knew from the moment I finished the intro class that I wanted to be an instructor! I wanted to find a place that anyone at any stage in life could exercise and that is why I love pilates. Pilates has taught me so much and I plan to share it with the world.
I found Club Pilates in March of 2018 and have been hooked ever since! I started practicing Pilates after leaving a busy gym. After taking Pilates classes at Club Pilates for a month, I decided Pilates was the way to my heart and to so many others! This lead me to becoming an instructor pretty quickly. When I was younger, I danced, I ran track, and eventually played on the competitive Tulsa Volleyball Club but nothing has changed my life as much as Pilates has. Pilates has changed my life physically and mentally. The concentration, muscle flow, and body alignment Pilates requires has helped me stay even more active and more intentional with my body in everyday life.
I have been married to a Sapulpa boy, Brian, for 30 years - making me 52 years young! We have 3 children from ages 13-19 and 2 dogs. I began Pilates because I needed to change my friends or my workout! They wanted me to run marathons, barre class and crossfit. I chose to keep my friends and make them join Pilates, because it was a full body workout and less stress on my knees. It’s been so fun! The biggest change for me was in my shoulder. I had a “frozen shoulder”. I woke up one day and could not carry my purse, not put on a coat or even lay on it at night. My range-of-motion was just gone. Through Pilates I have regained my mobility and then some! I enjoyed the Pilates classes so much, I decided to become an instructor! I began the Balanced Body training courses for each piece of equipment this year. I really just want to help other people work through any limitations and get stronger - Don’t give up! Pilates is truly for everyBODY

My name is Heather Gray, I've been with Club Pilates as their Jenks Landing GM since 5/21/2018. I am happily married and we share an 8yo son name Kaleb. I'm very passionate about Pilates and the amazing results it can have for people. You will see me in the club 90% of the time because I love the people in the club and I honestly love my job that it's hard for me to ever disconnect :-) When I do disconnect, my family and I love to go to the White River in Arkansas and trout fish! We're big on outdoors with camping, traveling to new places, and learning the history of different places in the US and getting to experience those new adventures together as a family. I love to share my Pilates story with others and I love being able to tell others stories of members and the changes they have seen. To see people progress and see results they never thought could happen is very rewarding for me! I can't wait to see you in the club soon and see your life changes! <3
